Michelle Furtado, AMFT

Michelle has a big heart for the hurting, filled with compassion and a commitment to

holistic, trauma-informed family care. With a background in early childhood education

and years of experience as a school teacher, she brings a deep love for children and a

passion for nurturing the “good insides.” Michelle integrates somatic and

solution-focused approaches in her work, finding joy in supporting parents and their

children.

Her experience includes working with littles, foster-care youth, international families,

and the elderly, supporting each with sensitivity and respect for their unique stories.

Michelle also spent several years overseas in Asia and Australia, serving on well-being

teams dedicated to helping families in inner-city communities.

Outside of her work, Michelle enjoys all things outdoors, especially water, the beach,

sunshine, and adventure—as well as prayer, reading, fashion, good food, and traveling

the world.
