We’re Hiring: Join Our Team of Compassionate Clinicians!

Are you a dedicated, passionate clinician looking for a supportive and professional environment to grow your practice? At Northern California Family Counseling & Wellness Center, we are currently seeking a licensed or associate-level therapist to join our team—either partially or fully—and serve our diverse client base with compassion, clinical excellence, and authenticity.

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a therapist who is eager to build a caseload of up to 25 clients per week and is committed to providing high-quality care. Our ideal candidate:

  • Holds an active Associate number or unrestricted LMFT, LCSW, LPCC license, or a Ph.D./PsyD in Clinical Psychology in California

  • Has training/certification in at least one evidence-based trauma treatment (EMDR, Brainspotting, Neurofeedback, TF-CBT, CBT, DBT, IFS) or is willing to learn

  • Can work sensitively and affirmatively with individuals of diverse sexual orientations, gender identities, and cultural backgrounds

  • Has a private, confidential, and sound-proofed home office with a reliable internet connection for telehealth sessions

  • Is compassionate, warm, personable, hard-working, and reliable

  • Is willing to commit to at least two years in a full-time role at our center

  • Can provide both in-person and telehealth sessions, with availability to work during a combination of morning, afternoon, or evening hours

Your Clinical Role

As a therapist at Northern California Family Counseling & Wellness Center, you will primarily work with moderate to high-functioning individuals who present with a variety of concerns, including:

  • Developmental and complex trauma

  • Anxiety, depression, and PTSD

  • Relationship and attachment issues

  • Grief, burnout, and life transitions

  • First responder and military trauma

  • Religious, medical, and sexual trauma

In addition to providing high-quality, trauma-informed therapy, you will:

  • Maintain minimal but sound documentation (treatment plans, SOAP notes, discharge notes, etc.)

  • Conduct consultation calls with potential clients assigned to your caseload

  • Coordinate care with lateral providers as needed

  • Participate in peer support groups, consultation groups, and leadership team access (optional, but encouraged)

Your Schedule

We offer a flexible hybrid model, with opportunities for both in-person and virtual sessions. You should be willing to work a combination of the following schedules:

Morning shifts:

  • Monday–Thursday: 8 AM – 3 PM
