Bethany Cates, AMFT

Bethany Cates is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (159014). She received a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from National University in CA, and previously received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Wheaton College in IL.

Bethany primarily uses cognitive-behavioral, motivational interviewing, and emotionally-focused therapeutic approaches in working with clients and addressing the relationships they have in their lives. She is committed to providing her clients with a safe and healing space to work through life’s challenges.

Outside of work and school, she spends most of her time with her family. She loves travel, live music, being in nature, listening to podcasts, and hanging out with friends.
