Brainspotting
Sometimes, difficult experiences leave a lasting impact that can be hard to work through with words alone. Brainspotting is a specialized, brain-body-based therapeutic approach designed to help individuals access and process emotional distress, trauma, and experiences that may continue to influence how they think, feel, and respond to the world around them.
At Northern California Family Counseling & Wellness Center, Brainspotting offers an opportunity to explore healing beyond traditional talk therapy. By using specific eye positions and mindful awareness of physical and emotional responses, this approach supports the brain's natural capacity to process difficult experiences. Our trained clinicians provide a compassionate, supportive environment, allowing you to work at your own pace toward greater emotional regulation, self-awareness, and lasting change.

Where we're licensed
Our clinicians hold licenses or associate licenses in California, Nevada, and Arizona. Because licensure is state-specific, we'll match you with a therapist licensed in the state where you'll be physically located during sessions. If you're unsure, ask us — it's the first thing we check.
