Bobbie Wilson, Traine

Bobbie is a Professional Clinical Counselor Trainee who brings warmth, authenticity, and a deeply trauma-informed approach to her clinical work. She is completing her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at Touro University Worldwide, supported by a strong foundation in both psychological theory and holistic wellness.

Bobbie is a licensed nurse whose background in addiction treatment shaped her ability to provide compassionate, steady support to individuals facing trauma, substance use, and significant life transitions. This experience strengthened her understanding of the mind–body connection, medical trauma, chronic illness, and whole-person healing. Her personal and professional background also gives her insight into religious trauma, recovery from high-control environments, step-parenting dynamics, and rebuilding identity during major life transitions. She brings a calm, nonjudgmental, and grounded presence to her work, aiming to create an atmosphere where clients feel safe to explore their stories.

Bobbie’s therapeutic style integrates client-centered, attachment-based, and trauma-informed practices, with a growing emphasis on nervous system regulation, somatic awareness, and narrative exploration. She strives to create a space where clients feel safe to be fully themselves so they are seen, heard, and supported in their healing journey.
