Lucy Herrera, LCSW

I am a compassionate therapist specializing in first responders, perinatal care, and young adults navigating life transitions. I support individuals working in high-stress, high-risk roles, as well as their families, in processing trauma, managing stress, and building resilience. As a fire wife, I am closely familiar with the unique demands and pressures that come with this line of work and offer a supportive space to explore those experiences. I am a Certified First Responder Associate Counselor and trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Brainspotting, and EMDR basic training, to help process trauma and reduce distress. My approach is empathetic and client-centered, creating a safe/supportive environment where you can explore your experiences and work through challenges.

I also work with individuals through pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and early parenting, addressing concerns such as anxiety, depression, birth trauma, and identity changes. In addition, I support young adults navigating transitions like college, career decisions, relationships, and finding a sense of direction.
