Rachel Nowak is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to supporting individuals as they navigate trauma, depression, anxiety, and the deeper questions that shape personal identity. She brings a grounding presence and a collaborative spirit to her work, helping clients explore their stories with clarity, compassion, and empowerment.
Raised in Redding, Rachel is passionate about giving back to the community that shaped her, and she approaches her work with a deep sense of commitment to the people she serves.
Rachel utilizes a client-centered approach and believes that the relationship between client and therapist is a sacred part of the healing process and strives to ensure clients feel safe and empowered during this deeply personal journey. She maintains that people are highly capable of taking control of their stories and strives to equip them with the tools needed to do so.
Rachel earned her Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Simpson University, where she developed a strong foundation in evidence-based practices that guide her therapeutic approach. She is committed to creating a safe, thoughtful space where growth feels possible and clients feel genuinely understood.

Why I Chose This Career:
Rachel chose the field of mental health care because she has seen firsthand how emotional struggles can shape the lives of the people we love. Her own lived experiences deepened her belief in the importance of access to compassionate, steady support during life’s harder seasons. This perspective fuels her commitment to walk alongside others as they navigate their challenges, offering a space where healing feels possible and no one has to carry their story alone.
