Vera J. Dunlap, AMFT
Vera Dunlap is an associate marriage and family therapist (AMFT125765) and a practicing clinical counselor associate (APCC9637). Vera received her master’s degree in psychology at National University with a concentration in clinical counseling and marriage/family therapy. She also has two associates degrees in human development and psychology as well as a bachelor's degree in psychology from Simpson University. Vera has experience in forensic psychotherapy, child/family therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness techniques, solution focused brief therapy, play therapy, emotions focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and person-centered therapy. She is passionate about destigmatizing society's outlook of mental health treatment, creating a safe place for a person to be their authentic self.
